Gratitude has been on my mind and heart a lot lately, partly because many days I feel so deficient in this area. It’s much easier to complain than to praise, to whine than to thank. So here goes… my thankful list.
~ for salvation.
I’m thankful my parents:
~ are still married to each other.
~never spoiled me.
~taught me early on to give, save and spend portions of everything I earn.
~never bought or gave me a car.
~let me stay on their family phone plan and health insurance this long.
I’m thankful I have graduated high school, college and am working toward a Masters.
I am grateful for the friends the Lord has brought into my life.
I am grateful for wonderful women, and a fun dog to live with.
I am grateful for friends who want to share life with me.
I am grateful for new things to learn, new adventures to experience, new challenges to face, new opportunities for growth.
I’m thankful for a patient, loving pursuing Heavenly Father who does not give up on me, no matter how often I fail Him.
