F1 teams are gearing up for the season in Barcelona testing with Hamilton and Raikkonen, predictably, out front. Schumacher tests for Ferrari today and gives a 3rd place time. Nakajima’s still surprisingly quick in 4th. Alonso (hahahahah!) is in 7th. My second favorite driver (to Hamilton), Heidfeld, is in 8th. 3rd favorite Kovalainen is 5th. My favorite team, BMW, had no Kubica testing but the times for Heidfeld and the current coolest driver, Klein, still show the radical changes they have made for this year. Again, this is still pre-season testing. Looks like a very mixed up season, with what? 6 drivers with potential to win?
I was pleased to see Ratatouille and Daniel-Day Lewis and Bourne Ultimatum. Bourne, with three, was a bit of a surprise.
Alan Hansen is currently, on my view, the best football pundit and here are his comments on Tottenham’s Carling Cup win against Chelsea. Great Cup finish.
